Joey Plunkett’s musical journey is as rich as the Mississippi Delta soil he calls home. Hailing from the same cotton fields that once neighbored Muddy Waters’ childhood abode, Joey’s upbringing was steeped in the soulful sounds of the South.
For the past two decades, Joey has devoted himself to the craft of music-making, serving as a full-time musician and honing his songwriting skills across diverse genres. From being one of the frontmen in the rock band Geronimo Rex to collaborating with the boundary-pushing ensemble Paperclip Scientists, Joey’s musical odyssey knows no bounds.
In a testament to his talent, Joey’s musical ventures have taken him far and wide, including a stint in Nebraska where he not only made waves as a performer but also left his mark as the proud owner of Lincoln’s beloved Meadowlark Coffee.
